    We believe that the story being told about American generosity is missing some facts.

    The nonprofit sector finds itself in a tough moment. Funding is uncertain. Public trust is thin. The number of American households giving has been falling for years.

    We don’t believe that Americans have stopped caring. But we do want to understand how and why our relationship with giving is changing, what people care about today and what’s in store for those who come after us.

    And this is where we’re starting.
